The ship has been placed in quarantine. Adelaide, February 24. The steamer Bucephalus arrived from Calcutta, off Cape Porda a few days ago Avhen her engines were stopped for want of coal. Provisions also were short. A tug was sent out but could not find the vessel. Further Bearch is now being made. Melbouene, February 24. A hotel was burned down at Ballarat yesterday. A man named Thomas was burned to death and four others are. missing. ;
