Juvenile Handicap, of 60 soys; six "furlongs.— Strephon, 1 ; Rebellion, 2 ; Lady Mab, 3. Dividend, £4 18s. Place Handicap, of 70 soys; 1 mile. — Wakatipu, 7st, 1; Leinster, 7st 71b, 2 ; Cruiser, 7st 111 b, 3. Won easily. Dividend, £3 6s-; Hutt Park Handicap, of 40 soys; 6 furlongs.— Angler, 6st 71b, 1 ; Masthead, Bst, 2; Wanderer, Bst, 3. Angler led from start to finish. Dividend, £15 lis. The Colonel won the Hack Hurdles, and Purestring the Selling Race. Cynisca, the winner of the Wellington Cup, has been sold for £1500. to Mr Wilson, of Broken Hill fame. The same gentleman has also purchased Pygmalion. Cranbrook has been sold to -Mr- H. White, of Mudgee, for 1000 guineas. Hon J. White sends Home four more youngsters this year to take part in the/ classic races of England and France They are Nepean, Wentworth, Mons Meg, and half-brother to Cranbrook.
