POST .& TELEGRAGH HOLIDAYS.

The 29th instant has been proclaimed by the Goyernrnent a public holiday to celebrate the jubilee of the colony. The Post an^ Telegraph Office will observe a close holiday. Mails usually despatched on Wednesday will be closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, the 28th instant. The Post Office will be open from 'B p.m. till 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday for counter delivery of letters, &c. Thomas Ward, Acting Postmaster.
