In the evening a concert was held in . aid :of the school funds. The concert opened with a play called " Two heads are better than one," aad this was so creditably given by local amateurs as to elicit frequent applause from the audience. After the conclusion of the play a number of songs and recitations were given, all of which were well received, most of the uerformers being encored. Financially speaking the concert was a great success, A dance was held after the entertainment and .the young people footed it merrily till "■ day dawnedj when all went home well pleased with the day's amusement. .
