Wangakui, January 15. Since our last report very few cattle have changed hands, and prices are without noticeable alteration. Sheep are well competed for ; a good demand seems to exist for young sheep, and fat sheep are at relatively lower values We had a successful sale of horses on Saturday. A lot of good useful \riimals were yarded, the bidding was brisk, and a large number were sold at a price- satisfactory to all concerned. At the yards to-day pigs were in limited supply, and prices ruled firm at quotations below. Oattm; — At Feilding : 3-year-old bullocks £3 5/- ; fat cows, £3 ; forward cows, 31/- to 41/. .At Waverley : None came forward. At St. Hill Street: Fat steers, £3 18/6; cows, jg3 7/6 ; cows and calves, 26/- ; heifers, 12/- ; calves, 6/. Sheep— At Feilding : Store wethers $/- to 8/6; ewes, 5/- to 7/6. At Waverley : Young ewes, 8/- ; hoggets, mixed'sexes, 8/- ;-■ lambs, 5/2 to 6/9 ; old ewes, 4/9 to 5/. At ist, Hill-street : Wether hoggets, 8/- to 8/6; mixed hoggets, 7/6 ; iat wethers, 8/9 to 10/3; s lambs, 6/-; old ewes 5/6. Horses. — At the fair on Saturday: Draughts, £14, £15/ £19, up to £20 $/_ ; unbroken, draughts, £10 to £15 ; spring cart and tram horses, £10 to £19- unbroken haoks, £6 to £8; fcrokeu hacks, £10, £12, up to £24; * few inferior horses, £4 2/6 to £7 10/.
