Grand Stand Handicap, lj miles. — Leopold, Sst 31b, 1 ; Antelope, 7st lib, 2 ; Raglan, 7st 121 b, 3. Won easily by a length and ahalf. ' Nursery HANDicAP.-»-Marv, Sst 51b, 1; Souvenir, 7st 81b, 2; Cambria, 75(, '3. Four others started. Mary led throughout and won on the post by a bead. Tirailleur won the Auckland Plate from Fabulous in a common canter. Auckland-' Steeplechase; about 3.-' miles. — Orangeman, 12st, 1 ; Messenger, list, 2; Volcano, list 61b, 3. Chemist, Rossit;r, Hurricane and Kneecap also ran. Won easily by two lengths. • Rossifcer and Chemist fell at the first hurdle, and were not afterwards in the race ; whilst Hurricane also came down at the stonewall, and was not persevered with.
