Arrival of the Aorangi

' I per. united press association. j3 Wkllinoton, December 30. The Aorangi was berthed at one o'clock to-day. She left Plymouth, after having been detained by a fog on the 16th November, with 300 bags of mails, 13 boxes parcel post, 232 passengers, and 56 boxes of specie. She arrived at Teneriife on on November 21st, Capetown, December 7th, Hobart, December 25th. Sydney J. Perrin, a second-class passenger,- died of phthisis on the 13th December. Fine weather was experienced throughout the voyage. The scarlet fever victim on the Aorangi was a "child. As soon as the disease showed itself every precaution was taken to prevent its spreading to other passengers, the mother and child being removed to the hospital, and put ashore when Hobart was reached. The vessel received a clean bill froni Hobart, and the officers here passed her without demur.
