Wellington, December 21. George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follows : — Values all descriptions of grain are depressed, and every indication point to further reductions. Oats rule froni 2s 2£d to 2s 4d per bushel ; oatmeal, £12 to £13; oat sheaf chaff, £5; straw do, £3; 'rolled flour, £9 5s to £9 10s; stone do, £8 os to £8 10s; wheatmeal £8 10s ; bran, £3 ss ; pollard, £3 10s • whole fowls' wheat ,3s ld to 3s 2d -broken do, 2s 6d ; maiie, 3s 6d ; feed barley, 2s 9d ; pearl do £18 10s to £19 ; feed peas, 4s 3d ; split do, 15g; beans, 3s lOd. Old potatoes are a drug at any price over 30s per ton ; new round samples command 3s ; kidneys, 4s 6d (the market is overstocked) onions have reduced to £8 per ton ; fcraw, £3 10s; meadow hay, £3 15s. is no demand for grass seeds, Tbe demand for Christmas trade in hams is brisk, but factory rule from 9d to 9£d per lb ; bacon, 7£d to 7£d ; Greytown cheese, bi ; other descriptions, 4£d to 4£d. Eggs are to hand in large quantities, and rule at lOd. A keen demand , is expprieuced for all descriptions of fruit; shipments, however are restricted. Fowls rule at 2s 6( j - 'ducks, 3s 6d ; geese, 5s 6d ; turkeys, 7s 6d per pair.
