THE ACCUSED FOUND GUILTY. By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright (per united press association.) Chicago. Dec. 17. Coughlin, O'Sullivan, and Burke have been found guilty of murder, and were sentenced to imprisonment for life. Kuntze was sentenced to three years' imprisonment, and Beggs was acquitted. The jury fixed the sentences themselves, and were four days in arriving at the verdict. One juror stood out and compelled the others to compromise. The friends of the dead man are indignant at the verdict. The prisoners have applied for a new trial. Nkw' Yoek, December 18. The American press declare that the verdict in the Cronin murder case is an" outrageous miscarriage of justice.
