The nomination of candidates for the East Coast took place to-day. The show of hands was— Arthur, 80 ; Bees, 48:-. Mr Arthur declared himself a strong supporter of the Atkinson Ministry, while Mr Bees wilLassunie an independent position. The poll takes place on Friday next.
