Wanganui Harbour Board
The annual monthly meeting of the Harbour Board was held yesterday. Present— Messrs J. Bailance (iv the chair), J.> L.- Stevenson, Thatcher and Hatrick.
Minutes v The minutes of the pre vious meeting were" read and confirmed. Accounts : Accounts to the amount of £986 18s 8d were passed for payment. This includes. £325 for, six months' interest on the £10,000 loan, and £600 for a year's interest on £60,000 (sinking fund) loan. Endowment Block: The secretary stated that he had heard from Mr Bray that Sections 2, and 15 of Block 6 of the endowment Block had been appliid for on-1 nursday last under the deferred paymen r system. Both these sections we) e next the- cash sections; and made a total of 10 sections' which had been applied for. — Eesolved that Mr Bray'be written to and instructed to estimate for and call tende a for th-3 clearing of the Pohangina iioad.— Uhronicle.
