The gignntic success and patrovtnge extended to the Auckland branch of j Stkwart Dawson & Co., the well-known Watch Manuracturers of Liverpool and London, by the inhabitants of N«w'Zea« land, since the month of April, 1884, has been so encouraging that, notwithstand ing the recent depression of trade in N.Z.. they have signed a renewal of the lease of their present Auckland premises so well known as Stewart Dawson - and Co 's Grand Watch Exhibition, at 94 Queen street. As S. D. and Co. have enjoyed a good share of the prosperity of N Z., they do nr>t mean to run away till better times come ; but to meet the circumstances, and being aware of the fact that in times of depression it is more necessary than ever that the working man should have a good timekeeper they have reduced the prices of the working-man's Watches to the very lowest, possible margin.
