We held stock sales at Awahuri, Marton, Feildiug, and Sanson during the last ten days. We had fair entries at every sale, and considering the very dry weather which has affected the price" of ail classes of stunk they, all with few exceptions 60id very well. The greatest dsop -is in cattle, which are receding 'back", and we are sorry to see to low prices again. We quota: — Cattle. Awahuri — 3 and 4 -year bullocks, L 3 5/p to L 3 8/6 ; fat cows, L 3 4/6 ; empty cows, 29/- ; 2£ to 3-year steers, L 2 12/- ; 2-year steers^ 3/6. f

Marton — Fat cows, L.3-7/6; 3 and 4-year bullocks, L 3 Ij- ; '2 -year steers 31/- to 36/ ; cows and calves, I>2 3/- ; cows, 30/- ; weaners and yearlings,, mixed, 14/6 to 17/- ; milkers,, L 3 15/.
