The second day's racing of the D.J.C. Exhibition Meeting was to a great extent marred by a heavy north-west gale. The racing on the whole was very good.

Tally-ho Handicap, of 150 soys. — Tornado, 1 ; Waitangi, 2; Wardrobe; 3. Won by a couple of lengths. Dividend, £2 155.

President's Handicap, of 600 soys ; 1£ miles.— Occident, Bst 51b, 1"; St James, 7st 31b, 2 ; Quibble, 6st 101 b, 3. Recluse, British Lion, Alsace and Masthead also ran. Won after a good race by a length and a half. Dividend, £1 lis 6d.

Ckitebiax Stakes, o£ ISO soys- — -Tempest, 1 ; Moraine, 2; Lady Mab, S. Di vidend, £3 19s.

Onslow Plate, of 250 soys ; IJ miles. — Tirailleur, 1 ; Sultan, 2; Cynisca, 3. Scots Grey also started. Won comfortably in 2miu Msec. Dividend, £2 12s 6d. The win was anything but' well received, the public being still sore over Tirailleur's scratching for the Cup. . Spring HandicaPj of 150 soys ; 1 mile. Lady Florin, 1 ; Huby, 2 ; Don Caesar, 3. Won by a length. Dividend, £12 3s 6d. Musselburg Plate, of 100 soys ; 5 furlongs, — Francotte, 1; Forester, 2; Eramason, 3. Won easily. Dividend, £11. December 2. Splendid weather favored tbe.D.J.C. for their third day's racing. .£35,643 has passed through the machine during- the three days. * Hurdles. — Ahua, 1 ; Garibaldi, 2 ; Wardrobe, 3. Dividends, £1 15s -6d and £1 6s. St. Andrew's Handicap, of 500 soys. — Lady Florin, 1 ; Mon Loup, 2 ; Quibble, 3. Occident, Recluse, St. James and Wakatipii also ran. Dividend, £6 lis. Jubilee Plate. — Scots Grey, 1 ; Recluse, 2 ; Ruby, 8. Won by a short length after the best race of the day. Dividend, £7 13s 6d.

Grand Stand' Handicap. — Ruby, 1 ; Blizzard, 2 ; Golden Crest, 3. Dividend £17 2s 6d.

The Maiden Two-year-old Handicap was won by Eamiason, the Consolation by Mon Loup, and the Novel Handicap by Qiickstep, paying a dividend of £10 7s.
