Kiwitea Road Board
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above Board was held this morning at 11 o'clodk. Present — Messrs Taylor (chairman), J. Eeid, GL W. Fowles, Lucas, Mills, Shannon, Homer and Williamson.
-.The minutes of the previous meeting' were read and confirmed.
Mr W. Christensen waited on the Board with reference to the widening of Pollock's road in the Harbor Board Block. After discussion it was decided that the Engineer inspect and report on the matter at the next meeting.

From District Land Office, re vouchers passed for fourths due. " From Treasury Office in reply, stating that the Board had all the powers of & County Council as possessed by the latter at -the time of the suspension of the Counties~Act, also stating that the Board could only draw a further snm of during the present financial year. From Mr Brabant, B.M.,re commission: on Onepubi bridge. ' From J. H. Taylor, re felling road line. From General Survey Office,, re Mr Brabant, 8.M., being appointed to hold enquiry re Cheltenham Cross Boad bound-
ary. From Loniu Holden, re firing bnsh, and liability of the Board therein. From District Survey Office, re voucher passed for payment of £50 1 balance- of
grant. From Gr. J. Wilhelm, re change of name on rate roll.
From J. Corr, asking for remittance of rates on the ground of being poor and in bad health. ■

From T. B:. Chamberlain, asking permission to fell road line.
From District Land ' Office, re proposal for expenditure of thirds in respect of Awahau-Pohangina Block. Frorti'Secretary Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, re election of member to represent the Kiwitea Boad Board.
