Sales have taken place at this." The Lytteltou Times 'gives the fol lowing items of interest" to woolgrowers : — " A private letter from Melbourne. from a gentleman qualified to judge, states that the English and Continental buyers there are so greedy for wool this season that prices ob taiued are on a level with those ruling at the recent London sales. . One large English buyer, a Yurksbi/etnan, of course, has such large oiders that he states he could take the whole Australiaa cliv of che. particular sort he requires, and not btung ahlu to secure all he wauts -there, he intends to extend his commission to New Zealand.
