Derby. Carbine and Melos, are equal favorites for the Clip at 100 toIlO each. The other quotations are 100 to 8 against Singapore, Lonsdale, Benzon, Antffius, Chicago and Cardigan. October 30. The Flemington tracks having dried well under the midsummer sky, good work has been done. Tartar did an excellent mile in lrnin. 50£ sec. Carrington and Finlander did a strong two miles. Melos spurted five furlongs comfortably in lmin. Bsec. Correze finished all abroad in a similar gallop.
