The bidding was vigorous for all offered, closing * firmly to an unsatisfied demand, at last week's quotations. /Sheep were' yarded' in increased numbers, though not beyond the trade requirements. Lambs, varying in quality very greatly, werein fair demand. A full muster of pigß Bold Bomewhat, irregularly though on the whole at satisfactory rates'. Ox made 17/- the' lOOlbs; wether mutton lf-d to 2d per Ib ; ewe mutton > lid per lb. We quote : — Cattle.— Bullocks, £5 5/- to £6 10/- averaging £o 10/- to £6 4/. Sheep. — NN ethers in wool, 16/6; uhorn, 11/- to 12/4; fat ewres, 8/9 to 9/6 -'lambs, 4/- to 9/. .
