The Argus this morning, in referring to the reconstruction of the New Zealand Ministry, says it now remains to be seen whether Sir Harry Atkinson (the Premier) and his colleagues will retain the confidence of the country. Now that the Premier has accomplished the feat of setting the finances ot the Colony in order there are probably people who begin to think that the time for farther political experiments has arrived. The Argus adds it will probably be found, if the experiment is tried, that the less political squabbling the Colony has for a year or two the more solid will its prosperity become.
Sydney, October 18
Three gentlemen named Cbatfield, Rogers, and Taylor, who went on a yachting cruise along ths coast have been missing for ten days, and fears are entertained that the vessel has foundered with all hands.
