( The following are the results of the £nal events at the Hawkes Bay Spring Meeting : — Spring Handicap, of 225 soys ; 1\ miles.— Tirailleur, 1 ; Tongariro, 2 ; Scots Grey, 3, Whisper, Lady Florin, Kotuku, Eenata and Cyclone also started. Won by a couple of lengths. Time, 2min. 48 2-sth sec. Nursery Handicap, of 50 soys ; for 2-jear-olds; 4 furlongs. — Pearl Powder, 1 ; Dryad, 2 ; Dreamland, 3. Sleep, Aronel, Moore and Kapo also ran. Time, 52sec. Dividend, £3 7s. Weltbb Handicap, of 50 soys. — Pro- . tender, •1 ; Soudan, 2; Boulanger, 3. Dividend, £4 7s. ' ( Emerald appropriated the Post Stakes, ' and Strephon the Free Handicap. '
