(per united press association.) Auckland, October 1. A young Frenchman, named Charles Adams, 29 years of age, has been lost overboard and drowned off Wangarei. At a meeting of the shareholders of the Wellington Meat Export Company and the Wellington Meat Preserving and Refrigerating Company, it was uuani mously agreed to amalgamate the two companies, and to form a new Wellington Meat Export Company, with a nominal capital of £100,«00, in 20,000 shares of £5 each, the old shareholders to receive the value of their shares in the new company.
