FEILDING 11. v. BULLS.
The above match was played at Bulls last Saturday, and resulted in an easy win for Feilding by 8 points to 1. Shortly after the kick off Bailey, by a good dribble, scored a try, from which Bellve kicked a goal. No further score was registered during the first spell, although Feilding had hard luck once or twice. In the second spell Terry and Bailey carried all before them, Terry scoring two tries, one of which Fowler converted into a goal. . Jack Robinson made a splendid run, and secured a try, but the kick at goal was a, failure. Shortly before time was called. Bullard for Bulls made the run of the day, and passing all the Feilding men secured a try close to the goal posts, but the score was not increased. Time was shortly afterwards called, the visitors thus winning the match by 8 points to 1.. Feilding forced Bulls down no less than 15 times during the second spell. For the winners Terry, Bailey, Fanthorpe,. Robinson, Bennett, and Stuart were most noticeable, while Hauthaway, Orbell arid Bullard certainly played Well for Bulls. Full Back.
