o Odd Fellows lodge to-night. Mr Ellery Gilbert will visit Feilding on or about Thursday next. A meeting of cricketers will be held at Light's Hotel to-morrow night at eight o'clock. The Feilding Masonic Lodge will meet at the Foresters' Hah 1 on Monday the 7th of October. Tenders are invited by Messrs Benson and Fetch for felling seven acres of bush which has already been underscrubbed. Further particulars may be had at the .farm and in the advertisement.
