Fatal Accident

(PEE UNITKD PBEBS ASSOCIATION) Woodville, September 23. A man named John Kirby, employed on the Gorge Works, met. with a fatal accident thiß afternoon. He was reaching fora rope of the cage which spans the river at the tunnel, when he slipped from the stage on to the rocks in the bed: of the river, a depth of 40ft. His arm was shattered and his head split open, and death ensued shortly after.
