George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follows: — There is no alteration on last week's quotations, which we simply repeat. Flour, oats, and wheat remain firm at late rates, Potatoes" still maintain their value, especially for really warranted samples. We quote roller flour at £10 10/- and stone at £9 15/ to £10 per ton, oatmeal, £14 15/- to £15 ; wheatmeal, £10 15/-; oats, 3/2 to 3/3; whole fowls' wheat, 3/7 ; broken samples, 3/3 ; maize, 3/10 ; feed barley, 2/10; beans, 3/10 to 3/11; cheese. 4£d to s£d, according to quality ; hams and bacon, 8d ; prime fresh cutter, lOd ; salt do, 8d per lb ; eggs, 1/4 per doz ; onions are hard to pick up, and readily command £23 per ton. Poultry— Fowls, 2/9 to 3/- ; ducks, 3/6 ; geese, 5/6 ; turkeys, 6/per pair. — Fruit. — There is a brisk demand for all descriptions, and apples find ready sale at 14/- to 15/---per case.
