The following team will represent Feildng in the final match for the cup on Saturday next against Palnaerston on the [)val :— Robinson, J., full back. — Good place kick ; cool player ; sure collar ; splendid irop kick ; Bhould pass more and talk less, Bpß, H. 8., three-quarter. — Very fast and strong runner ; fends off well ; good kick ; has represented Wairarapa. Parr, A. L., three-quarter. — Best back in Manawatu ; very cool ; most dangerous scorer of any player on the coast ; very fast runner ; spleudid dodger ; kicks and punts well ; sure collar ; would be hard to beat in his place if he only would pass ; has represented Manawatu last three seasons. Strahan, S., three-quarter. — Very cool ; most unselfish player in the team ; fast runner ; kicks and punts well ; late of Pirates, Hawkes Bay, Henby, J. E., half back. — Fast ; collars well passes and punts fairly well ; represented M anawatu last season. IHarmer, C. E., half back. — Dribbles and passes well ; follows up fast ; should roll up to practice more ; has represented Gisborne. Whisker, H. H (captain), forward. — One of the best forwards on the coast ; fast runner ; good dribbler ; passes and tackles well ; always troublesome to his opponents ; has represented Manawatu last three seasons. Gregory, A., forward. — Very fast, dribbles and tackles well ; a regular demon at fending off ; works hard all through the game ; has represented Manawatu on seyeral occasions. Iveson, E. F., forward. — Best dribbler in the team ; good tackier ; plays with a lot of dash ; always one of the first through the scrum with the ball at his feet. Saywell, G. H., forward. — Plays a rattling fast game, always on the ball; sure collar ; has represented Manawatu last three seasons. Whisker, J., forward. — Very strong; good on the line out ; dribbles and tackles well ; hardest worker in the team. Hodges, C, centre forward. — Powerful and fast ; follows up well ; good on the line out, but kicks rather hard when dribbling; represented Manawatu last season. Keightly, H., forward. — Dribbles fairly well ; good man on the line out ; works hard from start to finish ; has weight and uses it. Bray, C, forward. — Fast ; tackles and dribbles well ; always on the ball. Bklfit, M. — Fastest forward in the team ; tackles well ; very fast at following up ; works hard all through, but kicks too hard when dribbling.
