Large entries came forward at our sale at Sanson j'esteiday, which was well attended ty buyers from all parts in search of hoggets, wethers, or dry ewes, to finish off their turnips. An excellent class of sheep were yarded, and the bidding for the good lines was spirited, resulting in very satisfactory prices being obtained ; and those buyers who failed to secure the number of hoggets they wanted will have a good opportunity at our Bulls sale on the 13th of next month, when large lines of that class will come forward. Milch cows brought fair figures, but otherwise cattle are still very low. We quote : — Cattle.— Milkers, £4 2/6 to £5; cows, £1 ; bullocks, £2 ; 2-year steers 35/.
