At the wool auctions to-day fine cross-br-'.ls and good merinos, especially New Z" aland scoureds, sold well. Prices for middle merinos are irregular. An Australian wheat cargo has been sold at 34s 6d. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,672,000 quarters, for the Continent 216,000. The American visible wheat supply is 15,375,---000 bushels. Wool is unchanged. New Ze tland mutton, 6^d ; lamb, 8M ; beef, unchanged. The present stock of inutlon on hand amounts to 70,000 carcases.
