BY the inoculation of live timber with this compound, the whole tree, in. eluding the roots, is reduced to a highly inflammable and rotten state, and will burn readily right down to the roots. Dead timber and stumps can also be destroyed with it. Directions for Use.— ln a lar«e tree, a hole one inch in dinmeter and six inches deep should be bored down in the trunk towards the heart, fill with the compound -, — about one ounco will be required — plug the hole securely and make airtight. Cork or stiff clay will do. For smaller n trees a hole of less diameter and a smaller quantity of the compound will .suffice Price, 5/6 per lb; in 4lb and Ub tins, and in drums of 501 b. The cheapest, quickest, simplest, and surest method of clearing land. The largest trees can be destroyed at the cost of a few pence.
