The tw< » actions were, for the sake of convenience, ' ence, heard at once. Mr Haggitt 1 with Mr F. R. Chapman, appearec ' for the bank ; Sir R. Stout, with Mi [ J. McGregor, for Wilson, Tame anc , Co. The counsel addressed the jury, i and Mr Justice Williams summed up and the jury, after an absence oi three hours, returned a verdict giving Wilson Tame and Co. damages, foi £5000, the bank getting a verdict in the other case. The bank will gel altogether for the overdrafts, overdue bills, etc., roughly about £3500, and Wilson. Tame and Co. therefore receive £1500.
