STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.
Bulls, June 21. We had a very good sale at Awahuri this week, good entries of sheep came forward, and of a good class, more particularly breeding ewes. With the exception of a couple of pens all were sold at satisfactory prices. A few head of cattle came forward, but we regret w© can report no improvement in late prices. We quote : — Cattle. — Fat cows, £3 4/6; cows, £2 to £2 10/- ; weaners, 8/- to 11/-. Sheep. — 2 and 4 tooth ewes, good, 13/7; Napier ewes, 8/8 to 9/- ; lambs, 6/- to 6/7 ; mixed ewes, 5/3 to 5/11.
