The following entries were received last night for the Wellington Steeplechase Meeting which takes place on {Saturday, the 12th July : — Wellington Steeplechase Handicap, three miles. — Defamer, Glencoe, Orient, Orlando, Doctor, Gasparini, Rossiter, Owhaiti, Monteagle, Don (Kean's) f Ariel, Don (Newman'), Oddfellow, Panic, Eight Bower, Oceola, -Waterfall and Kangaroo. .■ Tkial Steeplechase, two miles — Defamer, Hard Times, (late Saffron), Doctor, Gasparini, Neck-or-Nothing, Rata, Owhaiti, Patriot, Madcap, Ariel, Monteagle, Bilk, Bit Doon, Tikirere, Exchange, J.D.K. Stonewall and Jackson. Hurdle Handicap, one mile and three-quarters.— Silence, Chemist, Orlando, Orient, Roßsiter, Gasparini, Clyde, Eight Bower, Clarice, Ariel, \ Monteagle, Ngarata, Kincraig, Exchange, Don (Kean's), Orangeman, Panic, Waterfall, Oceola, Oddfellow, Armourer, Akatea and Eeputation. Flying Handicap, three-quarters of a mile, — Rewa Eewa, Solitude, Camomile, Strenuous, Bronte, Peter, Eepose, Echo, Ngarata, Angler, Cupid, Pretender, Orator, Rufus, Tennyson and Akatea.
