(per united press association.) Auckland, June 10 The dead body of a man named Benallick was found near Penrose to-day. It is supposed that he was thrown out of the cart he was driving and killed. This Day. The body of a storekeeper named Garcy was found in the Waionui River, near Kawakawa. He wanted to cross at 3 a.m., but a settler in the neighborhood told him to wait till the morning. The inquest on the body of Bradford, who, it is supposed, was murdered at Waitahuna, and whose mate (Waddell) is at present in custody on the charge of murdering him, was rosumed at Waitahuna this morning before the Coroner, Mr Rivell. Some important evidence was given, and a solution of the mystery now seems probable. From the evidence of Dr Blair it appears that death was caused by drowning. The deceased wa9 evidently struck a severe blow on the face, and be fell (probably stunned) into the dam. His assailant then appears to have taken the body and hid it in the ferns. The deceased's hat cannot be found, and his dog is iniseiug.
