Stdnrt, May 18. The farmers in. the. Dubbo distnofc decline to accept New Zealand wheat for seed purposes. They assert they have, tried it before, and found it failed t» germinate.
At the sale of grain ex Hauroto, th* following prices were realised :— Wheat: — Ohick feed, 3s 6d to 3s 8d ; Hunter's white and pearl, 4s 2d to 4s fid ; prkft Tuscan, 4s 8d to 4s 9d. Oat»— F^u_ty v 2s 9d ; raed-un, 2s lid to 3s 2d ; m_Hing v 3s 3d to 3s 4d ; prime feed* 3a 4d to 3s 64 maize, 3s 3d; bran, Is Id; pollard, le 2d_
