The use of it is simplicity itself, and but littie labor required Time occupied for full destruction of a large tree, about three months ; slump* and deud timber, one month. It has been tested with unqualified surcess on 640 acres, the whole area being cleared &ad now under crop. Directions for Use. -In a large tree, a hole one inch in diameter and six inches deep should be bored down in the trunk towards tiie heart, fil l with the compound — about one ouncj will be required — plug the hole securely and make airtight. Cork or stiff clay will do. For smaller trees a hole of less di'imeter and a smaller quantity ot the compound will suffice Price, 5/6 per lb; in 4lb and lib tins, and in drums of 50lb.
