"We quote— Roller flour, £11 10/- to £11 15/-; Ptonedo£lo to £10 10/-; pollard, £5 15/-; bran, £4 15/- to £5; wheatmeal, £11 ; whole fowls' wheat 3/10 to 4/- ; broken samples, 3/6 to 3/8 ; oats, 2/1 1 to 3/- ; oaten sheaf chaff, £4 10/- to £15 ; feed barley, 3/- ; maize, 4/- ; beans, 4/- ; peas, 3/9 ; potatoes, £4 ; onions, nominally worth £12 ; pearl barley, £19 ; split peas, 14/6; hams, and bacon, 8d ; cheese, 4£d to ssd ; salt bi tter, 8d ; fresh do, 9d ; eggs, 2/- per doz. No arrivals in quantity of fruit are to be reported. Apples and pears require to improve on preaeit rate* before shippers see any inducement to touch the market. Apples iu'e from 5/6 to 7/6 ; pears, 8/- to 11/-; oranges, Island, 8/- ; lemons, 12/- ; walnute, 7d ; chestnulß, lld per lb. Poultry continues dull at the old figures — fowls, 2/6; ducks, 3/-; geese, 5/6; turkeys, 6/6 per pair.
