bciis, April 27. Large entries of sheep came forward at our sale at Feilding on Thursday, and at Sauson yesterday. The bidding however was not so brisk as at previous sales, but a good many of the lines were quitted after the Bales at reduced prices. We had only a few head of cattle in at Feilding, but a fair number at San son, where they found a little better sale, but the prices still are very low. We quote :— Cattle.— Feildin g: 18-month steers, 32/6; fat cows, 60/6; weaners, 11/6; Hanson: 2-years steers, L 2 ; 18-month steers, 26/- to 27/- ; 2-year heifers, 30/-; cows, 42/6; calves, 5/- to 10/-. Sheep. — Feiiuitg: Forwaid wethers, 8/6 to 9/3 ; 2-tooth Lincoln ewes, 8/9 ; fat ewes, 7/- ; lambs, 4/7 to 5/10 Sauson : Fat sheep, 7/6 to 9/- ; fat ewes, 7/6; 2-tooth ewte, 8/9; fullmouth rwes, 5/6; woolly lambs, 6/- to 6/7 ; shorn lambs, 3/1 to 6/2.
