White had his leg broken in three places, and an arm fractured, as well as internal injuries. He died this afternoon in great pain. Constable Bennett was injured in the legs and body. A Miss Benyou had a rib broken. Galbraith, jockey, had a small bone in his wrist broken. Taylor, the driver, had his chest strained, and is injured internally. Tully a runner of the West Coast Times, was on the top seat of the coach with two little girls, who he threw into some bushes as the coach was going down the hill ; they escaped uninjured.
