Wool Sales
The New Zealand Loan and Mer» cantile Agency Company have received the following cable message from their London office, dated 17th instant : — Wool : Since the openiug salea superior combing washed merino, and scoured five crossbred, have advanced a half penny to one penny per lb ; medium and iaferior greasy merino have advanced a halfpenny per lb. Other descriptions are unchanged, but the market is very firm. Up to date 152,000 bales hare beau sold.
