SUBSTANTIAL BISE IN PRICES. By Electric Telegraph.— -Copyright, LBIB UNITBH PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] London, April 10. The wool sales are very animated. The sales will close on the 4th of May! The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited), have received the following telegram ! from London office, dated 9th instant. ' Wool.— The following advances may be noted as having taken place this seiidp, as compared with last sales :— Superior greasy merino, Jd per \b ; medium and inferior greasy merino, £d per lb ; scoured merino, to Id per lb; fine greasy crossbred, per lb; fine scoured crossbred, id per lb. Other descriptions are unchanged.
