Beef came forward to-day in average supply. Beef made 12/6 the 1001 b; ewe mutton, l£d ; bullocks, from £5 10/- to £5 17/6, averaging £5 13/- ; small steers, £3 5/- to .£4 12/6, averaging M 12/2. Sheep — Fat ewes, 9/10 to 10/- ; lighter weights, 8/1 to 8/3. Pigs— Baeoners, 29/- to 40/- ; large porkers, 20/6 to 24/G ; others, 14/9 to 17/- ; stores, 7/- to 11/6 ; small sorts, 4/6 to 5/9.
