Mr Jellicoe said there would be no more evidence as to undue influence and drunkenness, and closed the charge. Sir R Stout called no evidence, but referred to the way the Commission was being trifled with in charges being brought without any direct charge being proved. The Commissioners made no reply. The charges preferred by Alexander Boswell that Mr Rawson couspired with Mr Samuel and others to commit him for trial upon unproved charges was next gone into. Complainant said he was com mined for trial on a charge of defrauding his partner in the lighter service, and the Grand Jury found a true bill. The newspapers showed that witness' counsel was not willing to let the case be judged on the facts and the Judge directed an acquittal on legal technicalities. The Court adjourned at 2 o'clock.
