Page, Ashurst, asking permission to erect a verandah in front of his shop. From J. H. Hankins, enclosing bill of costs. From Osborne, Gieson & Co. (2), asking particulars as to price of the plant of the Manawatu Gorge Ferry. From John T. Walker, Ashurst, calling the attention of the Board to drain opposite his sections, Nos. 48, 49, and 50. From P. & J. Bartholomew, offering 2s per ton for the sole right of cutting the flax on the roads of the Board. Copies of resolutions passed at meeting of ratepayers of No. 5 ward on February 20, 1889, were sent in. From Property Tax Commissioner, forwarding values of real property in the Boad District for the 3 years, commencing Ist April, 1889. From the Colonial Treasurer, forwarding statement of the amount received by the Board under the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, ISBS. From the Secretary Charitable Aid Board, Wanganui, asking for particulars of expenditure last year by the Board. From the Eangitikei County Clerk stating the total valuation of the County outside the Borough of Marton and Town Districts of Turakina and Lethbridge is From Clerk Feilding Council: applying for an order for the Hospital for in invalid.
