THE Proprietors have much pleasure in informing the general public that the above new and commodious Brick Hotel, splendidly furnished, and possessing every possible improvement and requirement for the convenience of its patrons is now open for the reception of visitors, and they trust by strict attention to business, to meet with the same liberal patronage as hitherto bestowed upon them, and can assure their guests that every endeavor will be used to give the utmost satisfaction. The DiniDgroom is extensive and lofty, and fitted with all the latest modern improvements; The Bedrooms are large, well ventilated, and furnished in a superior style. The Ladies and Gentlemen's sittingrooms are beautifully laid out and replete, containing registered grates and every requisite to ensure comfort. The Culinary Department will be under the entire supervision of Mr Obb, senr., assisted by an efficient staff of assistants, and attention will be taken to provide the table liberally with everything in season, and in such a manner as to meet with the approval of the most fastidious epicures. Hot breakfasts always ready for passenders leaving by the early morning trains, as also Hot suppers on the arrival of the 10-30 p.m. Manawatu train. Hot, cold, and shower baths, as also w.e. adjoining, on each flat. Wines, spirits and ales, of the choicest brands only, imported direct by the proprietors. A night porter always in attendance.
