More Horrible Murders

In each instance the victim is a woman, who hast been found terribly mutilated,' much in the same way as those at Whitechapel. The number of women so murdered is six. Early in the month three murders, bearing the same marks, took place at Spaniards TownJamica. London. February 16. It would seem that the murder epidemicwhich prevailed in the latter part Of last year in the neighborhood of Whitechapel,. and was attributed to "Jack the Ripper," has broken out in the West Indies and vicinity. The last victim in Whitechapel was killed in November last, and in the foDowiner month four Negress s prostitutesr were killed in Jamaica. Attached to the body of the fourth victim was a paper signed " Jack the Ripper." The murderer then appears to have proceeded to Nicaragua, where, during the month of January six similar atrocities were CommittedL
