THE FEILDING CRICKETERS.

TO THK EDITOR OP THE STAK. Sir, — Our local cricketers have immortalised themselves by losing almost every match they have played. I, acting for the players, was prepared to bring an eleven into the field (outsiders) that would have given the club their usual beating — one innings against two. However, like everything else in Feilding, any attempt to do good was a failure. Numerous grand players were waiting for the match Outsiders against the field, but as cricket in Feilding ia ultra exclusive. I shall refrain in future from trying to " cast pearls before swine." — I am. &c. IiONOSTOP.
