I ® C'hkistchubch, February 16. 1 This morning a party of inu&tererg 3 employed by the Government des- ' covered one scabby sheep in a flock oi 800, on the Puipui Run ten miles off s Kaikoura. The flock has been iso--5 lated, and will probably be destroyed. ' Kaikoura, February 16. The outbreak of scab is of less ' gravity than at first reported, and is confined to an isolated portion of the 1 flock. There is no danger of the dis--1 ease spreading. February 18. Government have decided to destroy the infected portion of the flocks about 800 sheep, and take over the infected portion of Gibson's country. Wellington, February 18. Active steps are being taken to deal , with the outbreak of scab. Sheep ' will not be killed unless the mob has been isolated six months.
