Feilding Hunt Club

The adjourned meeting of the above was held at Mr Light's Deubigh Hotel on Saturday night. Mr E. Goodbehere was in the chair. i After the usual formal business, it was proposed by Mr Love joy, seconded by Dr Charlton, That a club be formed . and called the Feilding Hunt Club, i and that hounds be sent for at once from Blenheim. — Carried. Proposed by Dr Charlton, seconded by Mr Morphy, That Mr Roake be appointed Huntsman and Secretary, and take charge of the hounds on their arrival. — Carried. Messrs McMillan and parr reported that they Lad made favorable progress in getting the consent of farmers whose land was suitable to hunt over. The meeting was then adjourned until Tuesday, the 26th instant, at : Mrs Hastie's Hotel, when officers will be appointed and the rules of the club drawn up.
