Another Fire

A few miuuces after twelTe, noon r to-day an alarm of fire was given. Our reporter proceeded to the spot, and found that a building? used as a Btable and hay storing place, the property of Mr Alfred Hannett, was on fire. Several members of the Brigade were present, and did good service in preventing the Barnes reaching the adjoining premises. There was plenty of water and witling hands to carry it. We noticed Alf Bade and others on the roof of Mr Hannett's house, drenching the shingles with, water supplied in buckets. There is no information as to how thefirestarted The place was burned to the ground, and a lot of valuable hay destroyed. The stable was insured for £50 in tha Phoenix. .
