No. 2 Ward Loan
Notice is given to-day that a meeting of ratepayers in No. 5 ward of the Manchester Road district will be held at Messrs Bailey Bros.' sawmill, Taonui, on Wednesday, the 19th instant, to discuss the proposals to borrow £4000 to be expended in making roads in 'that ward. The urgent necessity which exists for the works named in the schedule, already published, has long been patent to every resident in this Road District, and those who have suffered so long from difficulty of egress and ingress to their several properties, will now be glad to have an opportunity of removing what has been, to them, a great obstacle in the nrnfrraaa nf ant.f-.lAmanf
